TROH - Educational Merit Scholarship - 2010 .

We are now accepting applications from low economic background students , for the next academic school year for the Educational Merit Scholarship. The students must be in between Grades 5 to 12 and should have an excellent academic background.

The submission dead line is June 30th 2010. Number of scholarship is limited to 1.

Student Selection :

The completed application will be submitted to TROH. All application will be reviewed by the TROH team. The final decision will be made by TROH Project Team Leader. The student will be notified through the phone or via school. Please contact " theraysofhope9@gmail.com "for the application form.

Follow-ups :

Occasional enquiries will be held by TROH team member or the team leader to evaluate the academic progress of the student. Students should keep a minimum of 80% ( 'A' grade ) mark in all exams to continue the Merit Scholarship from TROH. Occasional enquiries will be held by TROH in the student's educational institution.

Criteria for the Candidate :

1. Application will be accepted from the students who are in 5th to 12 th grades. But only one candidate will be selected for the year. The chosen student will be supported until 12 th grade after periodical review of their progress reports and mark lists. So it is important to send TROH a copy of their mark list when they receive their mark sheets.
   


2. The students applying for the merit scholarship must have 80% or above marks in their examinations.
   


3. The educational support is mainly focus to the students who are studying in government educational institutions not the private educational organizations.
   


4. TROH must have recommendation letters from the class teacher and the head of the institution.The letters must be on school letter head with seal and date.
   


5. TROH must have attested copies of the mark sheets of student from the head of the institution(at least last two years mark sheets).
   


6. The completed application form will be submitted to TROH.
   


7. The scholarship is only restricted to the residents of Kerala,India.
   


8. The amount per year, will be limited to a maximum of 5,000 Rs. for 5th to 7th Grades , 7,000 Rs for 8th to 10th Grades and 10,000 Rs for 11th to 12th Grades students.

General Guideline :

1. TROH merit scholarship must be used for educational purposes only(like uniform,fees,books etc.). TROH is not sponsoring any children,only support them through the merit scholarships.
   


2. TROH scholarships will provide annualy every new school year.
   


3. The scholarship is only restricted to the residents of Kerala,India.
   


4. The educational support has no affiliation or support to any specific religion,race or gender.We provide equal opportunity for all the students from Kerala, India.
   


5. TROH will keep the confidentiality of all the students.
   


6. All applications will be reviewed by the TROH team and Final decision will be made by TROH - Project Team Leader.
